Pierre Garçon just gave the Redskins their "Dream Team" moment. They're gonna suck now @tallmaurice

pft – Quarterback Robert Griffin III, tight end Fred Davis and wide receiver Pierre Garçon are all healthy and practicing with camp underway, however, and that’s led to other thoughts about the offense. Namely, how good the offense can be this season and Garçon set the bar very high when he was asked that question. “We have the potential to be the best offense ever, really,” Garçon said, via Jim Corbett of USA Today. “We can be the top offense in the league. We have a lot of great players at every position. We have a great offensive line, great tight ends, great receivers, running backs and quarterback.” Corbett followed up to ask if Garçon meant the best offense in Redskins history, but the wideout repeated that he meant the best offense ever.
Used this tweet because that’s exactly what it is. It’s Washington’s “Dream Team” moment. No escaping this quote. When Kirk Cousins is the starter for 10 games and the team sputters on yet another three and out, this is the quote that the DC papers are going to jizz over. And I love it.
Which is weird because the Redskins are like the only NFC East team I don’t flat-out hate, and Pierre Garçon was actually a favorite sleeper fantasy pick of mine until the injury. But this is about division championships and learning to hate your enemies, and for that I can’t wait until Alfred Morris’s sophomore slump and RGIII’s sexting scandal ruins his squeaky-clean persona and crumbles the Washington Racistnames.
Besides, my dude Chip already invented the best offense ever. Don’t know why nobody told him that.
