MSN – Philadelphia-based Little Baby’s Ice Cream presumably wants people to buy its ice cream, but you wouldn’t know it by watching their bizarre, super creepy new ad for their 16-percent butter fat super-premium ice cream. You watch an ice-cream-coated man (well, we think it’s a man) eating ice cream off his head while staring at you with ghost-like eyes. Add the off-putting voiceover from a dude who Chris Hansen might bust on “To Catch a Predator,” and you have the makings of a crazy ad that is far from appetizing. It also makes you want to shower — for many reasons.
Any commercial that’s memorable is a good commercial. Little Baby’s Ice Cream hit the jackpot with this thing. Freaky enough to keep your interest, but friendly enough not to scare you away. I want some ice cream. Maybe it didn’t have the same effect on some of you, but no homo I’d be down for eating an ice cream person right now.
