Man Buys New Hallucinogenic Chinese Drug Off The Internet, Dies After Repeatedly Running Into Trees And Power Poles

Arbroath – A new drug causing bizarre and irrational behaviour has emerged in South Australia, and has led to the death of a man who killed himself by repeatedly running into trees and power poles. The two drug types – known as 25B-NBOMe and 25I-NBOMe – were responsible for the death of a man in the Mid North in March, who died from injuries sustained after running into fixed objects, trees and power poles as a result of an overdose. In the past 11 days, there were two non-fatal overdoses – also in the mid-north of the state – in young adults who were related to each other. Drug Investigation Branch Acting Detective Superintendent Derryn Phillips said the relatively new drug was believed to be made in China and bought over the internet. She said its long and short-term health issues, and its presence interstate, were unknown. The drug is a derivative of potent hallucinogens, 2CB and 2CI, both banned substances in South Australia. They are marketed similar to LSD. “The effects of these drugs causes bizarre and irrational behaviour, paranoia, fear and confusion. Other effects include increased body temperature, sweats and seizures,” she said.

Couple things. First, I gotta admit that it’s pretty cool that this generation has new drugs popping onto the market every couple of months. Like the idea of logging onto Chinese internet to buy never-before-used types of LSD is definitely some badass shit that wasn’t around in the 60′s. This month it’s 25B-NBOMe and 25I-NBOMe, last month it was synthetic marijuana, the month before that bath salts — our desire for new and awesome ways to get high is insatiable. Go 21st century kids.

Secondly — why aren’t we better at making drugs that give us super human qualities? Sure we got steroids and Adderall, but you’d think with all of this black market cash flow some imprisoned Chinese scientist would have come up with the Limitless pill or one that lets you see other people’s emotions in color. Superhero stuff. Hell, maybe they do and that’s how they pulled off that 2008 Beijing Opening Ceremony. Who really knows?

Still wanna get my hands on the good stuff. I mean sure I understand the market for drugs that make you eat people’s faces off and/or run into trees until you die is at an all-time high, but there has to be an untapped segment of people who don’t necessarily want to trip so hard they seek out murder. What about the folks who just wanna smell music or slow down time for everything except their pets? There has to be a crazy guy in Montana somewhere with the lab equipment, Master’s in Chemistry, and free time to make illegal drugs beneficial.

bubrub don't be a bitch, if you can party like the adults I'm sure someone will put some fuzzy navel in a sippy cup for you. 2ci is a good time, I have never experienced any of those side effects, I think some people just cant handle their drugs.
