Kris Humphries Gets $24 Million Deal, Clowns Kanye On Twitter

NYDailyNews – It took an enormous payroll and another failed trade negotiation for Dwight Howard, but the Nets finally have Brooklyn’s first starting lineup. Kris Humphries, the Nets’ double-double machine last season, landed back where he started – re-signing with the Nets on Tuesday, his agent told the Daily News. It’s a two-year deal worth $24 million, according to a source. His pending signature gives the Nets a starting 5 certainly worthy of a playoff spot – PG Deron Williams, SG Joe Johnson, SF Gerald Wallace, PF Humphries and C Lopez – although the team’s total payroll is set to exceed $80 million, or about $10 million above the luxury tax threshold.

a dude getting a double double on a shitbum squad is no big deal. stats are significantly inflated when you play on terrible teams. when you think about the amount of garbage time the Nets had throughout the season its not too impressive. not saying the guy is a total scrub but 13&11 in 35 min a game is about right for a PF on a team that wins 1/3 of its games
