NYDailyNews – It took an enormous payroll and another failed trade negotiation for Dwight Howard, but the Nets finally have Brooklyn’s first starting lineup. Kris Humphries, the Nets’ double-double machine last season, landed back where he started – re-signing with the Nets on Tuesday, his agent told the Daily News. It’s a two-year deal worth $24 million, according to a source. His pending signature gives the Nets a starting 5 certainly worthy of a playoff spot – PG Deron Williams, SG Joe Johnson, SF Gerald Wallace, PF Humphries and C Lopez – although the team’s total payroll is set to exceed $80 million, or about $10 million above the luxury tax threshold.
Hahaha, that’s pretty clever, Kris. Nice use of Twitter humor to shed light on your current contract situation and to showcase your maturity with handling the tribulations of your personal life. Way to prove that not only have you moved on financially, but personally and professionally as well. And oh yeah, one other thing:
Kanye West is fucking your wife and everybody still hates you.
Enjoy your money, homey!
PS – Tminus how many years before the BK Nets regret everything they did (or didn’t do) this summer? One?
