nwfdailynews – A 26-year-old man from McDonald, Ga., has been charged with hitting his wife with a gun and forcing a seven-year-old boy to smoke marijuana at gunpoint, according to an arrest report from the Walton County Sheriff’s Office. Justin Blake Mitchell hit his wife in the head with a gun, pointed it at her, threatened to kill her and then robbed her of cash and other personal property, the report said. Then Mitchell pointed the gun at the seven-year-old boy and threatened to shoot him if he didn’t smoke marijuana, according to the report. He also stole another man’s debit card at gunpoint and robbed another woman of her personal property, the report said. The incident took place on July 12 at a home on Santana Drive. Mitchell was arrested then, but further investigation led to additional charges, according to the report. Mitchell has been charged with aggravated battery using a deadly weapon, three counts of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, child abuse, grand theft of a firearm, possession of a controlled substance and possession of marijuana, two counts of felony larceny and two counts of misdemeanor larceny.
Seems to me like there’s a lot of unnecessary shock to Justin Blake Mitchell forcing his seven year-old son to smoke weed at gunpoint — what other choice did he have? Homeboy already pistol-whipped his old lady, surely the cops will be on his tail soon. Only way out of this mess is to have an alibi and discredit all witnesses. Seven year-old son watching a little too closely as you hit his mommy in the face with the butt of a handgun? Make him smoke a bowl or two. No way police trust the testimony of a stoned first grader. Defense attorneys live for this type of leverage. Little Cheech’s homework was probably colored so far outside the lines that nobody with sense could trust his word. Clutch snap decision by Justin here.
