By the third USA Basketball game there will be about a billion 10 year-old Asian kids imitating Blake’s dunks on some 7-foot rice basket somewhere. Michael Jordan and Kobe Bryant’s wallets can attest to the great benefits international celebrity can bring. Of course as American fans we’re aware of Blake’s mixed race black freckled car-leaping abilities, but I seriously doubt he’s as well known overseas.
