The Cleveland Browns Offered Up The 19th Overall Pick For Sam Bradford

Everything’s coming up Chip!  This little nugget on top of speculation that Arizona was trying to grab Bradford directly from the Rams for their 24th means that there in fact IS a lot of interest around the league for the walking piece of glass, that is if he in fact can still walk.

Why is this important?  Two main reasons: 1)  If Sam Bradford is considered a “First Round Worthy” commodity to teams around the league, it’s still realistic for the Eagles to be able to package him to say, the Titans, and get St. Marcus of Mariota.  Or B)  Maybe Sam Bradford, if/when he’s healthy with a little bit of talent around him, can be a franchise quarterback.  Obviously I’d like to take the chance on Mariota than Bradford right now, but even if we’re going into the season with Sammy as our (healthy) starter, there’s no need to panic.  Regardless, with each day passing it’s looking more and more like Chip Kelly actually knows what the fuck he’s doing.
