Phillies To Interview A LAY-DEE, Kim Ng, For The Vacant GM Position

CBS – Philly has been unusually mum about its search, but it was learned that Kim Ng, the former Yankees, Dodgers and White Sox executive who works in the MLB Central office, is line for an interview there, joining Indians executive Ross Atkins, who is interviewing this week according to sources, and ex-Marlins GM Larry Beinfest, who interviewed a couple weeks back, as the three known candidates. Ng, who has parents of Chinese descent, has an interview upcoming.

Hey, I couldn’t care less if the Phillies new GM is a man, woman, child, alien, dog, or Jew. Hire that mini-shit from Little Big League and dress him in drag for all I care. As long as whoever is in the hot seat makes the best decisions for this team, that’s all that matters. If the Phils are just doing this for a splash then it’s obviously not a good move. But if they genuinely think Ng can handle the heat and keep her ass out the kitchen (pun intended), then I’m all for it. It shouldn’t be that hard to improve on the precedent. A decapitated ferret could’ve twitched its way to better decisions than Ruben Amaro Jr.

I’m waiting to see if I hate this team.
