Drake Needed Security To Get Out Of Philly Last Night

Drake was performing in Philly last night and before we get started, let me at least mention that this is an AWFUL look for Meek Mill. Drake comes into his city and has the entire Wells Fargo Center singing along to his diss track? That goes right in the L column for Meek. But Drake forgot one crucial thing here. He’s dealing with Philly fans. And if Philadelphia, it doesn’t matter if you’re rooting for the Cowboys or the team from Washington or the Penguins or the Rangers or Drake or whoever. If you step foot in the Sports Complex in South Philadelphia for an away game as an opponent, you’re gonna have a bad time. Case in point.

Guess he didn’t perform “Charged Up” because he knew that would trigger a firing squad of batteries to rain down on him. Only problem is instead of dealing with a bunch of angry Flyers fans throwing commemorative wristbands, Drake is dealing with a bunch of angry Meek Mill fans who are probably working with some unregistered weaponry. But I’ll tell you what. This is exactly why the rap game needs enforcers. You can’t let Drake just go up there on stage and run his mouth the whole night. You need some guys who are going to step up and set the tone. Does setting the tone necessarily mean kill the guy? No, I’d hope not. But as long as the threat is there then I guess Meek’s enforcers did their job. Now poor wittle Drake will maybe think twice before taking a shit in another man’s house.

Sidenote: Future looked pretty good at the concert last night.

Turns out “Stick Talk” is actually just about Future’s favorite blade curves.
