So your boy pulled down $300 this week in Fan Duel’s weekly challenge. I was sitting pretty in 7th place at 700 bucks heading into Monday Night Football. I figured with Pittsburgh’s D, Big Ben, and Mike Wallace still active there was no chance I stayed in the money. But that dump of a game only dropped me from 7th to 11th and I walked away with 300. After my top 5 finish week 1 I’ve been slowly tweaking my formula to get back to Fan Duel prominence. In order to win it all you gotta try different things and go out on a limb with some choices. But if you always wanna be in the hunt, one thing always has to remain the same.
Its a tradition unlike any other – always bet against the Jets. These are like 4 of my last 6 lineups. There are two basic things I think every Fan Duel member should know – always pick a big QB/WR tandem, and always pick whichever defense is going against the Jets. I don’t care if its fucking Jacksonville – you can absolutely guarantee at least one INT, one fumble and multiple sacks per game against the Jets. Legitimately you can guarantee that. Think about the last time you saw a Jets game where Sanchez didn’t throw a pick, lose a fumble or end up on his ass like 4 times a game. Every week I bet against the Jets, that way when they inevitably disappoint me on the field I at least have something to look forward too gambling. Its like that guy in Cinderella Man says: “My heart’s for my Jets, Joe, my brains and my balls are for business and this is business.” And you guys say I dont know sports. Pfft.
