    look, i don't love that these guys are rocking out after the L. but saying the franchise is dead is absolutely ridiculous. we made it to the super bowl and lost. it's disappointing, for sure. but 30 other teams would love to lose in the super bowl. my favorite stat this week is that if you subtract brady's rookie year and '08 when he was injured from his 12 year career, that leaves 10 seasons. of those ten seasons, he's led the pats to play in the super bowl five times. 50% of brady's seasons result in a shot at the title. that's ABSURD. i admittedly haven't researched it, but i'm pretty confident that no other QB has done that, and if it's been done, it's a very short list. and brady still has 3 or 4 good years left in him. gronk and hernandez, 2 years left, and gronk will probably re-up for the long haul. welker will at least be franchised for next year. wilfork and mayo are locked up. we have 2 first rounders in the draft. if you're a pats fan, you should hold your head up, because the foreseeable future looks real bright.

    @Dro, my head is held high, if the Pats can get to the SB with this team then with better talent a title is realistic. But i congratulate the Giants, what they did was pretty amazing comming from 7-7. And the shit talking doesn't bother me, thats the reward for the fanbases of the winners. But the Pats are far from being done, i remember people saying that after they lost to the Colts in 2006 AFC title game. Good young core group + 4 picks in the top 64 + significant cap space in 2012 = success.
