Kerri-Lee Mayland (Halkett) is new to NBC 30 here in Hartford. I guess she is from Philly and she is blazin. Maybe your bros in PHI have more dirt on her (possibly some nice pics of her rack).
Sounds like a Price Is Right contestant, “Kerri-Lee Mayland, come on down!” Now I don’t know if she’s on par with the Sonia Baghdady’s and Theresa Labarbera’s of the world, but good for her advancing her career with the move from Philly to Hartford. Although you could argue Philly to Libya is a step up. It’s like after every hard-hitting story she did down there, she always must’ve been like “But I still live in Philly”. Hartford is like Paris compared to Philly. The problem is I’m not ready to put her up there with the Smokebomb CT Newscasting greats quite yet. Like the reader emailer says, maybe there’s better pictures out there, but I just stalked Google imaged her for the last 2 hours and this was the best I got. I see the potential and the hooker boots are always a plus, but right now I’m putting her on the 2nd tier. Like if Baghdady, Lahmers and Labarbera are the Ruth, Gehrig, Mantle and Dimaggio of the CT Smokebomb newsreporters, I’m putting Mayland one level down with the Jeter’s, the Reggie’s, and the Munson’s. Still not a bad place to be, but not quite Monument Park.
