The Yankees Offense Is In Full Video Game Mode

I was fortunate to be in attendance for the beat down that took place in the Bronx today, and beat down might not do its justice. I sat in my seat in just disbelief at was going on. Twelve pitches into the game it was 5-0…TWELVE. Kevin Gausman legitimately stood no chance on the mound today. I’ve said this a few times this year, but if you’re able to sit the Yanks down 1-2-3 in the 1st inning of games you deserve CY Young votes. Ask Chris Tillman or Kevin Gausman how easy it is.

The top 7 of the lineup is without a doubt the best in baseball and yeah I know how good the Astros have been, the Yanks are just better. If you don’t get Gardy out to lead it off you’re as good as dead, because then it’s Hicks (.317) Judge (God) Holliday (.367 RISP) Castro (.325) Gary (El Gary) Didi (.327). The 2017 Yankees are currently on pace to hit the most home runs in franchise history. Stop and think for a moment the kind of lineups they’ve rolled out in the 100+ years of being in baseball. CRAZY.

When you have Gary as hot as can be doing these types of things to baseballs it’s game over…

The other 29 teams in baseball stand no chance if Gary is going to get white hot and hit bombs like he did this weekend.

Seeing Aaron Judge in person is like nothing I’ve ever seen. He works every count until you fuck up and make a mistake. He’s a near genius at the plate, fouling off tough pitches and laying off junk which is the reason he has an absolute out of this world OBP of .450. 45% of the time he steps to the dish he reaches base. That’s not supposed to happen. When you make a mistake to him, things like this happen.

FOUR HUNDRED AND NINETY FIVE FEET. I’ve never seen a ball hit that far to left field at Yankee Stadium. Ever. The reactions of both the pitcher and catcher when that ball travels towards the moon were just priceless. Even Didi Gregorious was speechless, and that’s after Judge hit the hardest hit ball in human history yesterday. Every single game you’re just going to continue to be amazed. His second home run looked like a single off the bat, in terms of how low to the ground it traveled, but because he’s the strongest man in the sport it went out.

You just have to laugh at this point. We’re witnessing one of the more special seasons in some time. I seriously can’t remember the last time I saw him get out.

Guess who’s leading the AL in batting average? How about RBIs? And home runs? Spoiler alert, it’s all the same guy.

P.S. Was walking up towards the stadium gates today and had a sneeze brewing. My friends were off to my right so I was good to go on my left to pull the trigger. I didn’t have a lot of time to cover my nose so I just let her rip. Well, a woman came from out of nowhere on my left in the most perfect timing ever. She got absolutely covered in my sneeze. Like 100% of my sneeze went on her body. She wasn’t happy to say the least and used a few expletives. At least she didn’t say bless you (I hate people that say bless you to me, especially after I cover them with spit and snot). So SORREY to that woman, hope she’s showered by now.

Full recap of the awesome week that was, coming tomorrow. Go Yanks
