Real Facts vs KFC Radio Facts From Today's Show

Today on KFC Radio we discussed dinosaurs. Namely the Mass Extinction Event that lead to the end of their species and allowed man to inherit the earth. We began discussing dinos, meteors, the earth’s size and rotation, and all sorts of science. Unlike many shows, KFC Radio aims to bring you the most accurate and correct information available on the market. So today we play Real Fact vs KFC Radio fact. Are these statements correct or are they things made up on the show:

1) REAL FACT – Allegedly. If the meteor arrived a little earlier or later the earth would have rotated and the spot the meteor hit would have been different. If it landed in the ocean vs the place it hit which was rich with carbon dioxide and gypsum, they might have survived. More on my “allegedly” at the end…

2) KFC Radio fact – The earth is spinning 1,000 miles per hour. Makes sense if you can approximate the circumference of the earth. I, cannot. I would have said 100,000. All those answers make sense to me. So if you were to say the asteroid came 1 minute later, that would be a difference of 16 miles. Basically the same size as Manhattan. You tryna tell me that an asteroid being uptown or downtown could have saved all the dinosaurs? For sure NOT. Maybe like 10 minutes would make a difference. Not 1.

3) KFC Radio Fact – The meteor hit the earth with the force of TEN BILLION atomic bombs. Shit 9 miles wide and was going 40,000mph. So, even more proof that Fact #1 is fake news. Something hits this earth with the force of TEN BILLION NUKES we’re all fucked. Everyone is dead. So take a hike, scientists. Kick rocks, documentary. Dinosaurs were dead no matter what.
