A-Rod Issues A Statement In Hand Written Letter

Perfect move by A-Rod here. He wrote something by hand to show this is personally important to him, he flat out apologized and reassured us that his main concern right now playing baseball. What more could the fans or media want? That is what makes this perfect, no matter how you try and spin this A-Rod said nothing wrong an apologized. However, at the same time he did not do what the Yankees wanted and didn’t hold a press conference at the stadium admitting he was wrong while at the same time staying away from the team for it.

I think this is a power move by A-Rod to let the team know that while he has come out and apologized, he wont be pushed around and hes here to work. If he held a press conference, it would be further public punishment for a crime he has served his time on, and now he wants to just play. The Yankees are going to have to pay him no matter what happens and if he is going to work hard, it is time for them to welcome him back.

I’m not saying give the guy a monument but the team playing games with him isn’t going to help the team, or save money so it’s time for everyone to embrace the bad guy if we want to have any shot this season.
