Was Claude Giroux Crying After Last Night’s Loss To The Pens?

The cynical part of me wants to make fun of him for crying in sports — but this seems different. Is it because he’s the star player on my favorite team? Probably/definitely. If this were Crosby would I have written this blog in an entirely different tone? Maybe/without question. But still, it’s nice to see the guy out putting his heart on the line and leaving it all on the ice. Reminds me a little of Iverson…only without the domestic violence and gambling.

Besides, after taking him in Tuesday’s Racial Draft, there’s no way the world’s greatest black hockey player wouldn’t get a pass from me.
