This Donald Trump Ad That Shows How Much Applause He Got During His Convention Speech Is Fake Life Stuff

That’s it. That’s the thing that finally convinced me that Trump doesn’t actually want to be president and is simply seeing how much he can get away with. That theory has been floating around since he announced he was running last June but it is now undeniably true after watching that. Even the most staunch Trump supporter has to admit that ad is straight bonkers. I guarantee even Trump is sitting somewhere away from the cameras being like, “Remember when we put out an ad that talks about the percentage of my speech that was applause? LOL.” I was waiting for something else to happen during the ad. A few more statistics about the speech or something. Nope! Just basking in the glow of the 33% of his speech that was applause. What a damn world.

PS- How has Saturday Night Live been handling Trump? I haven’t watched SNL in forever but it has to be impossible to nail down Trump sketches because he basically 8 Mile/B-Rabbits himself every week before they can get a chance to make fun of him. Hard to parody something that is willingly parodying itself better than they ever could.
