Bouncy Castle Gets Lifted HIGH Into The Air By A Tornado While There Are Still Kids Inside
ABC News- A waterspout that came ashore at a Florida beach turned dangerous after it hit an inflated bouncy castle, tossing it into the air and injuring three children. The swirling column of wind and ocean water that formed in Fort Lauderdale hit the ground today and video shows that it headed straight towards the amusement ride. The video, provided to ABC News by Brandon Burchett, shows the bouncy castle get caught in the wind, flipping over repeatedly before it was swept even further up in the air. The Fort Lauderdale Police Department reported that the waterspout “uprooted” the inflatable and it was “sent across parking lot into roadway.” Police said three children, whose identities would not be released, were injured. One was being held overnight for observation and two were treated for minor fractures and released, police said.
Alright, so all the of the kids who were inside the flying bouncy are alright and that’s good news. Good news because otherwise blogging a story where a bunch of kids died in a bouncy castle would be a little too heavy for a morning where everyone’s anxiety levels are through the roof. Also good news I guess because the kids didn’t die. Seeing as they didn’t die, how much fun do you think that was? Once they got past the part of shitting their pants I bet those kids had a goddamn blast getting launched into the sky like Dorothy. Every other bouncy castle they ever enter going forward just isn’t going to compare. All other kids will be having an awesome time at the bouncy castle and those three kids will take a long drag from a cigarette be like, “Oh yeah? Well did it lift off the ground and fly high into the sky? I didn’t think so.”
PS- Honestly shocking how there were still kids in that thing when the tornado/water spout hit. Not one parent there was like, “Man, that wind is really picking up. We should probably get all the kids out of the bouncy castle in case it flies away”? Guess not. One word: Florida
