The Final Four Of New York City Incompetence – #2 Jets v. #3 LIRR/MTA

#2 seed – New York Jets – The organization is about to declare Mark Sanchez their starting QB again. Even though he’s literally been the worst in the league since 2009. His competition? Geno Smith. A rookie who completely sucks. Santonio Holmes says he can’t ever run again and probably won’t play this season just to be spiteful. They have zero offensive weapons. A lame duck coach who fucks feet for recreation. And an owner who cares about nothing but selling tickets and grabbing headlines. The organization is a goddam ZOO. There’s no semblance of a plan. No end in sight. If it wasn’t for a brief run of success a few years back, they could challenge Time Warner for the #1 seed.

VS.

#3 – LIRR/MTA – Truth be told, I can’t even imagine how hard it is to create a mass transit company for the New York City metro area. Having a series of buses trains subways tunnels and bridges perfectly transporting approximately 1 billion people can’t be easy. That being said, the MTA, and specifically the LIRR, does about as bad of a job as you can possibly imagine. Constant delays. CONSTANT overcrowding. Penn Station is top 5 worst place on the planet earth. Every single year they raise their rates. The monthly metro card is gonna cost like 500 bucks a month in a couple years. The 2nd avenue subway will never, ever stop. And there’s just something about a company that makes commuting to work extra miserable. Thats awful enough as it is, you don’t need the LIRR and the MTA making it worse for you.
