Which picture better sums up each franchise? On the one hand, you’ve got Valdespin getting hit in the dick without a cup. Which is pretty symbolic of the collapses and choking the Mets did during 06-09 era. Just year and year stomping on my dick with no cup.
On the other hand you have the Jets. A few seasons in a row cruising down the highway with a couple big playoff wins and now its 2013 and they’re just a dirty old truck fire on the side of the road. Waiting to blow up.
