Jacksonville Fans Petitioning For The Jags To Sign Tebow

Yahoo РFrom the petition website: Jacksonville Jaguars fans want the team to sign recently released QB Tim Tebow. However, rookie general manager for the Jacksonville Jaguars David Caldwell is blocking this from happening. If the Jaguars sign & START Tebow, home games will be sold out, sales will spike, the team will win and the fans will be happy.Mr. Caldwell is ignoring lots of facts about the misunderstood Tim Tebow while in Denver: Passer rating of 125.6 is highest ever in Broncos postseason history. Most yards per completion (31.6) in NFL playoff history.100.5 QB rating is best ever for a Broncos QB in his first start.Third most passing yards in a game by a Bronco rookie QB. (308, in his 2nd start), First 15+ point comeback in the final 3 minutes of an NFL game since the merger, 7 game winning drives in just 16 games!

So this is the new trend that everybody loves. “Starting petitions.” They either do that or they set up online fund raisers. I swear to God its like the whole world has turned into Lindsay Bluth. The best part about this petition, aside from the completely asinine stats that prove basically nothing, is that the petition was yanked off the White House website. The White House Website allowed a petition earlier this year to turn Super Bowl Monday into a fucking national holiday. That petition, they allowed as legitimate. If you go to the website right now, theres an active one to get Mr. Rogers his own holiday. But Tim Tebow being a starting quarterback in the NFL – can’t have it. Even political nerds know this guy sucks.

Tebowmania has to go down in the history books as one of the most bizarre, unexplainable things the sports world has ever witnessed. A completely average man with a couple miracles here and there and all the sudden he has the following of the entire world. Sound familiar? Makes me wanna go become a Jew.

Just kidding.
