Good Job, Good Effort Ovechkin!
Going into this series, I was nervous. I compared it to last year’s 7 nail-biters and figured it would be an even tougher task this go-around. 2011-12 Ovi was a shell of what he’d been throughout his career. This season, though, he bounced back in a big way. Went on a tear the second half of the Caps’ schedule and tossed his toothless mug into the Hart discussion. He could be the difference now.
Or, he could just blatantly quit on the eventual game-winner to knot the series after his coach already had to make excuses for him following Game 3. But hey, if my off-season looked anything like this, I’d be expediting my exit too. Don’t worry, Alex – almost there!
