Citi Field Sleepover Seems Like A Ridiculously Fun Time
NYDN – For the first time ever, Mets fans can legally takeover Citi Field for the night. The Mets are hosting an all-night party on Aug. 10 where up to 500 fans can unfurl sleeping bags on the outfield grass or pitch tents along the dirt warning track. Just don’t expect your favorite player to come tuck you in at night. The team will be on the road playing the Arizona DiamondbacksFor $200 a piece, fans get a dinner buffet, a late night snack in the Modell’s Clubhouse, breakfast, can watch the Mets play the Diamondbacks on the Citi Vision board and can schmooze Mr. and Mrs. Met. Season ticket holders got the first chance to order tickets this week but the sale opens to the public Thursday at 10 a.m. People who buy four or more tickets get the discounted rate of $175 a piece. Metropolitan Hospitality – which also offers the space for weddings and trade shows as well as Bar and Bat Mitzvahs – is hosting the event.
Hey Mets fans! We can barely get you to come out to the stadium for 3 or 4 hours, hows about you come hang out for a solid 15?? Oh and it only costs 200 bucks a person. But don’t worry that includes a buffet and a late night snack! Icing on the cake is that you’ll be watching an away game on a television! Come one, come all! Its sleepover night!
All kidding aside this is probably a blast. First of all the Mets are on the road so you got a much better chance of seeing a Mets win at Citi via television than you do in person. One of only 4 teams in the NL with a winning record on the road. But beyond that a slumber party at Citi is probably fun as fuck. The possibilities are absolutely endless. Camping out in a tent on the field. Gotta sneak some booze in so you can get fucked up all night long. Definitely creep on some chicks and try to bring one of them back to your tent. I’m setting the over/under of number of girls who get fingered at the Citi Field Sleepover at 250.5. Who knows…maybe even you get Mrs. Met back to your campsite. Cuckhold Mr. Met right on his home turf.
Its like one of those high school Lock Ins except you’re at the ball park and you’re a grown adult. Like one night of summer camp fun again. I promise you it will be the best time anyone has at Citi all year long.
