Tom Hanks Took Wedding Pictures With A Couple In Central Park, Further Cementing Himself As America's Sweetheart

Standard Co - Hanks, 60, was jogging in Central Park when he spotted newlyweds Elisabeth and Ryan and couldn’t resist congratulating the smitten pair.

Ignoring the dress code, the Forrest Gump actor walked over in his running gear and introduced himself to the happy couple.

The couple were clearly delighted by the A-list intruder and posed for a string of photos.

Speaking to the New York Daily News, Elisabeth described the moment as “pretty amazing”.

She said: “He just walked up to us and took off his hat and glasses and said, ‘Hi, I’m Tom Hanks.

“It was pretty amazing that he stopped.”

For real, Tom Hanks is America’s sweetheart. I don’t think there is a single soul out there who hates Tom Hanks. Not only hates, but even slightly dislikes him. I think Tom Hanks is what JJ Watt tries to be but does completely wrong. It is however, SO COCKY, that Tom Hanks walks up to a random couple in Central Park full knowing that they want to meet him. Not a ton of people can pull of a “hi, I’m Tom Hanks” type of move and have people cheer it and not call it arrogant or assuming. He is just so beloved, he knows white people will do literally anything for him. He is to white people what Obama or Tyler Perry is to black people.

And the fact he signs his tweets “Hanx” is such a power old person move. He probably still double clicks links and watches the local news in standard definition. There’s nothing better than classic old people technology moves, and I bet Tom Hanx has a myriad of them. He’s just the best.
