I’m going to be completely honest with you. This blog started out about the Redskins having to make RB and WR cuts today since they are loaded at both positions. That blog will come later. This blog is solely about how good Alfred Morris is. Guy is a stud. Maybe the most underrated back in the league. I’m guilty of not talking about him enough, and to be honest, Alfred Morris doesn’t talk about Alfred Morris enough. He’s a humble hard worker and deserves to be talked about. 1600 yards in his first season, 1275 last season while only getting 17 carries a game. It was preposterous how poorly Kyle Shanahan used Alf last season. Just thinking about it is driving me crazy. For fucks sake the guy didn’t have a 20 carry game until their 8th game. 8th!!! While averaging over 5 yards per carry coming off a 1600 yard season! FUCK! They would go throw, throw, throw, punt with the lead in the second half. Alf would pick up 7 yards on first down and they would go throw, throw, punt. The play calling was atrocious, to put it nicely. My jaw would be on the ground watching the play calling in action. Redskins Twitter would have an aneurism. Was just insane how terrible lil’ Shanny used him. I read something a while ago that Morris was first in the league last season for yards after first contact (To be honest I can’t find the source again, but I think that’s what I read). He’s a bulldozer and still can bust out a long run too. Hopefully new offensive coordinator Sean McVay gets it right. I love fucking Alfred Morris!
