Just a good ol’ Friday afternoon injury dump. As we know, the Skins have been battling injuries all year, and it only got worse with Jordan Reed suffering yet another concussion. He’s now at 6 in his career, which makes you wonder how much more he wants to put himself through. I love Jordan Reed so much, but I don’t think anyone would blame him if he put his long-term health over catching balls and having his brain turn into mashed potatoes.

Josh Doctson is heading to IR, which is a major blow for the team and the first rounder. He battled with his achilles all offseason, finally saw action in one game, and hasn’t seen any action since. Turns out that achilles is the new RG3 knee, which reasonably scares the shit out of me. Doctson has boatloads of talent, hopefully they can send him to enough specialists and finally figure out what is going on with it. A missed rookie season isn’t the worst, but would be awful if this is somehow a forever type of thing.

And finally

He might have some sort of Mr. Magoo tinted prescription visor on the field, but he’ll be out there, which is a big help for the Skins. Cravens has been a dominate force on the defensive side of the ball so far as a rookie, and having him back is a big boost to the weak defense.

With a win in Detroit, the Skins would move to 5-2, which I don’t think anyone saw coming. The Lions haven’t looked great, but they are scoring 25 points a game this year. Should be a high scoring one, but I love the Skins chances here on the road before jet setting off to London.
