Capitol Police Officer David Bailey, Injured In The Alexandria Shooting, Threw Out The First Pitch At the Congressional Baseball Game
What a bad ass. Here take this, I don’t need this stinkin thing
David Bailey is a hero in every sense of the word. He was shot by the man who attacked the congressional baseball practice, still returned fire, and then limped over to House majority whip Steve Scalise to care to his gunshot wound while waiting for an ambulance to show up. Officer Bailey and Officer Crystal Griner put themselves in danger and prevented a possible massacre from taking place.
And then tonight, just one day after it, he threw out the first pitch at the game. What a freaking legend.
Pretty packed house to see members of Congress play baseball. Philly could only dream of a crowd this big.
PS: Shout out to Prezzy too. Crushed it.
