Pretty Safe To Say Frank Caliendo Nailed His First Week At NFL Countdown

In case you missed it. On Friday we broke the news that Frank Caliendo was going to now be on NFL Countdown

Close your eyes before you watch this first clip. What’d you think? Probably thought, Oh my god, ESPN cloned Chris Berman. Now there are two Chris Bermans, Awesome! Well yeah it was Awesome but it was actually 1 regular Chris Berman and 1 Frank Caliendo doing an impression of Chris Berman. Just Frank being Frank. Absolutely killing it yesterday. You know how sometimes you’ll look back on a decision you made in life and be like, damn, probably should’ve done that differently. Well this is the exact opposite. Because now I can’t even imagine NFL Countdown without Frank Caliendo in it. That’s how good he was yesterday. Just on point from the word go.

You play to win the game, and Frank Caliendo is winning that game. (Frank didn’t actually say that, I just came up with it, pretty good, probably could use some work though).

Frank is right, this did sort of sound like his Pacino but that’s cool because his Pacino is awesome too. Too many Frank impressions is like too much bacon, never a bad thing.

So true on that John Wayne point. Never even thought of that. Frank can be so smart sometimes.

its beyond annoying when you guys record the tv for a clip to match your blog and you laugh and commentate. you've already seen the clip, we know you think it's funny or else you wouldn't be blogging it. are you going to tell me you can't be quiet for 17 seconds? i actually feel second hand embarrassment for you guys when you do it because it's just so damn awkward.

When I have to turn the fucking volume all the way up to hear a phone recorded show, please shut the fuck up during it. I can barely hear the show and then all the sudden I get this guys blarely laugh coming out of my speakers for the whole office to hear.
