CBS News - Michigan priest Rev. Peter Petroske is suspended from his duties after being accused of driving drunk, and naked, through the city of Dearborn. The Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Detroit told CBS Detroit that Petroske, 57, was charged with driving under the influence and indecent exposure. According to the archdiocese, when he was arrested late Thursday, he was alone in the vehicle and reportedly not wearing any clothes.

Anyone angry at this guy for going hard off the wagon needs to shut their mouth. I mean you think your job sucks? You think you deserve a nice, soothing drink after a long day at work to forget about your worries and problems for a little while? Try being a fucking priest working near Detroit the next time you think you’ve got it tough. If you aren’t praying for someone to get a job, land on their feet and escape unemployment you’re forgiving them for slanging crack rock and committing triple homicides. I don’t know if priests get stationed to locations like people in the military do but I think it’s safe to say Detroit is probably the worst place to score a gig in the clergy. So yeah, hate on Peter Petroske if you want to. But try walking one day in those shoes and telling me you wouldn’t strip down butt-naked, drink a fifth to your face and joy cruise around the barren streets for a while. Preach Peter Preach!
