Chicago Sun Times - Porn star Jenna Jameson owes $92,000 for skipping two scheduled appearances at suburban movie theaters showing her film “Zombie Strippers!” A DuPage County judge on Tuesday ordered Jameson to pay the breach-of-contract damages for spurning the March 2011 paid appearances at theaters in Naperville and Woodridge. Jameson claimed she skipped the events because she was ill, but theater owner Ted Bulthaup sued after seeing video of her attending a birthday party in Hollywood for celebrity blogger Perez Hilton on one of those nights. “The day after she was too sick to appear in Illinois she seemed fine in Hollywood,” Bulthaup attorney Kevin Mahoney said as he asked for damages from the adult-film star, whose legal name is Jenna Marie Massoli. Jameson wasn’t in court Tuesday, nor was she even represented by an attorney as Judge Patrick Leston ordered her to pay up. She was supposed to have received a minimum of $10,000 for appearing at the Hollywood Palms Cinema and Hollywood Boulevard Cinema to sign autographs, greet fans and attend showings of her 2008 comedy-horror film. Her scheduled appearances had generated more than 1,200 advance ticket sales before she abruptly backed out less than 48 hours before the events, Bulthaup said.

This lawsuit makes no sense. Yeah no shit Jenna Jameson showed up to Perez Hilton’s party instead of yours. It’s Perez Hilton. That dude is so in right now it’s not even funny. Probably throws the hottest parties going in Hollywood hands down. If he sends you an invite to show up, you show up. That’s all there is to it. Doesn’t matter if you signed a contract to go shake hands with some pimple faced weirdos still soaked in Jergens and take pictures at the premiere of “Zombie Strippers”. Fuck that. Relevance is everything in Hollywood and if there’s one person who can single-handedly keep you in the game, it’s Perez. I know it, he knows it, Jenna knows it, apparently the only person who doesn’t is the guy suing her. Take a hint bro. She didn’t even send a lawyer to hear out your case. Perez just trumped you and that’s all there is to it. Cut your losses and move on. You don’t want this fight.
