Slatest - A New Hampshire man faces life in prison for allegedly setting a fire that caused more than $400 million in damage to a nuclear submarine—all because he apparently wanted to leave work early. On Monday, the Navy brought two charges of arson against Casey James Fury, a civilian shipyard worker, for two blazes on the USS Miami attack submarine while it was in dry dock at Maine’s Portsmouth Naval Shipyard earlier this year, the Associated Pressreports. Fury, who is said to have confessed to investigators while taking a lie-detector test in June, has not yet entered a plea. Seven firefighters sustained minor injuries while fighting the blaze, which took more than 12 hours to extinguish, according to Reuters. Three weeks later, Fury apparently set a smaller fire in the dry dock facility outside the Miami, after having a heated text exchange with an ex-girlfriend.
This story will live on forever as the preeminent example of how destructive women can be to a society. Just nagging away all day through any means necessary to annoy the shit out of you with no regard for human life. Hey bitch, your man works on a nuclear submarine, think you can lay off the whatsapp messages for a couple hours while he tries to not blow up the entire fucking planet? Is that okay with you or is your need for attention more important than the $400 million in damages this guy is inevitably going to cause because you won’t shut the fuck up? Whoever this broad is, she deserves as harsh a penalty as this guy gets for nearly setting the world on fire. Everything isn’t always about you sweetheart. Relax for a minute.
PS – Gotta say I love this dude’s approach to all this. Saying “fuck it” and starting a fire is as big a power move you’ll ever see in our entire lifetime.
