ORANGE CITY, Fla. – Deputies arrested an Orange City man who they say was laying on top of a table outside of a Sonic restaurant naked and refused to put his clothes on.
According to Volusia County deputies, Adam Hunt, 40, was sleeping in the nude outside of the Sonic on Saxon Boulevard Sunday after hours on top of a table when he tried to bite another man, according to a witness who called 911 to report the incident.
In the 911 call, the caller said Hunt was “butt a** naked,” tried to bite him and was being “belligerent.”
When deputies arrived and asked Hunt to put on his pants, he refused and said “take me to jail then,” and tried to fight the deputy, according to the report.
Hunt was arrested and charged with resisting arrest without violence. He was taken to the Volusia County Branch Jail on $500 bond.
Whats up with the guy calling the cops and trying to wake Adam Hunt? Is that guy serious? If I saw a bro completely naked sleeping on a restaurant table the LAST thing I would do is try to wake him up. That has human bite written all over it. Its like tapping the glass at the lion exhibit at the zoo. You really have to be told that’s a bad idea? That if a lion got pissed and wanted to eat your face they could easily do so? Adam Hunt is no different. You wake him up he’s going to come out biting, 100 out of 100 times.
More importantly though, I don’t think the fact that Adam Hunt is naked at a restaurant in Florida is all that crazy, the crazy part is that he actually sleeps naked. I literally can’t understand how people sleep in the nude. Its straight up bonkers. For one, I have yet to reach the point in my life where drunk accidents are not completely out of the question. It’s like the warehouse safety chalkboard. “This Job site has been accident free for ___ Days”. I’m currently at like 150 days tops. I need to get to at least a year or two before I start taking risks, you know like driving the fork lift buzzed or sleeping without boxers on. And two, what do you do if someone tries to rob you in the middle of the night? You can’t fist fight naked, its impossible. Taking a bullet naked or getting stabbed naked is downright mortifying. Like I know clothes won’t stop a gun or a blade but at the same time they definitely will. People who sleep naked are no different than the guys in the X-Games. Straight up dare devil adrenaline junkies. Literally one of the craziest things a person can do.
