(CBS) As the Cubs continue their quest to avoid 100 loses on the season, they’ll wrap up this disaster season with a three-game matchup against the 106-loss Astros. The Cubs currently sit a 99 losses, and if you’re interested in heading out to Wrigley Field one last time this season, you can do so for less than it takes to do just about anything in Chicago.
I’m actually shocked that they’re 19 cents. That seems way too expensive. I would honestly need 1,000 dollars to see a 99 loss team vs 106 loss team while the Bears are on Monday Night Football? 1 G and I’ll go sit in Wrigley for the night. Just $1,000.19 away from having a deal.
You know how when someone has a twin and that twin dies and the living twin is like, I knew something had happened, I could just feel it. Well that’s me and Rovell now. I just know he’s going to tweet something obnoxious about this. I feel it inside of my heart. “Jay Cutler made $15,125 in the first 3 minutes of the game tonight, that’s enough to buy 732,983 Cubs tickets”. Its going to happen. Guaranteed.
PS
This is one of those things that gets forwarded around to a million people. Like a 60 year old accountant in Seattle, a 35 year old stay at home mom in Tulsa, and some 9th grader in Atlanta are all laughing at The Cubs right now, and that makes me sad and hate myself.
