Source - There’s been a gulf between the Christopher Dorner that friends called “friendly” and “positive,” and the Christopher Dorner who this week became a real-life Rambo who went on a rampage targeting law enforcement. But now information emerging in court documents and interviews paints a more complex picture of Dorner and his emotional struggles. Ex-girlfriend Ariana Williams told ABC 7 that she was initially attracted to Dorner, who was outgoing and friendly. But she became troubled by his paranoia.
After they broke up, Williams wrote a post about him on DontDateHimGirl.com, and Dorner filed a restraining order against her, according to court papers from 2006. Dorner claimed that Williams was harassing him and sent him a threatening letter to his home. The Associated Press obtained a copy of Williams’ posting on DontDateHimGirl.com through court documents. She posted his badge number and described him as “severely emotionally and mentally disturbed,” ”twisted” and “super paranoid.” She claims that Dorner hated himself for being black and at one point asked her to act more like a white woman. The post said, “Just be careful because this guy is a police officer and he will probably think that he can get away with anything. … If you value your sanity, stay away from this guy.”
Not trying to tell Ariana Williams her business here but if my ex was a murdering psychopath that was the subject of a state-wide manhunt living on the lam and killing police officers I’d think about keeping a lower profile. Maybe find a safe house or a relative close-by and lay low for a while. Definitely wouldn’t pull out the “I told you so” card and point out that you reported him to DontDateHimGirl.com when he’s still on the loose killing people.
It does sorta suck we all missed the warning signs here though right? I mean there was all the evidence you’d need to stop this dude waiting to be found on DontDateHimGirl.com for the world to read and it went right over everyone’s head. If only there was a better outlet or source for Ariana Williams to turn to when trying to warn other people about a potentially psychotic man with severe mental and emotional problems who hid guns around his house and thought people were after him trying to kill him for years. Maybe like an organization or department full of people whose main focus is protection of citizens or something? I don’t know, just spit balling here.
