Brandon Marshall Says Those Two Magic Words

SI - Chicago Bears wide receiver Brandon Marshall delivered a bold prediction to Bears fans Friday night at Soldier Field,Comcast SportsNet Chicago’s John Mullin reported. “This is just between us, so keep it here,” Marshall said to the 27,352 fans before uttering two words: “Super Bowl.”

Brandon Marshall is just crazy enough that he legitimately might have thought this was going to be a secret between him and 27,000 people. I can absolutely see him waking up, seeing this in the paper and freaking out like “Who’s the leak!? Huh? Who’s the motherfucking leak!? Jay!!!!!“

PS – This shouldn’t be a bother to anyone. Nothing harmful about saying “Super Bowl” when you’re talking to your fans, especially when you’re just having fun. It should be expected really. Just keep that split personality away from making guarantees and proclaiming dynasties and who cares.

weeks ago when neil asked for someone to cover the white sox, i made fun of him joking that he was gonna ask a new person to cover every single different sports team...and he's actually doing it. So, with other people covering all of Chicago sports, that means there's no need for neil to stick around, right??

Why do we need one blogger for every sports team? Point is that if pres hired a guy FROM chicago, even if he wasn't as good as neil (hahahahahaha) then you would see a dude who could blog bears, cubs or sox, and hawks or bulls. if you're not that good with hockey or bball then hire a guy who is better than your weakness and then obviously hire a guy who is opposite of your baseball preference. We have about two bloggers for every site on bss, sometimes three, why do we fucking need FIVE for chicago?! i'm fucking from chicago and have been trying really hard to accept all this, but this site is getting fucking toasted.
