Honestly real worried about Whitesox Dave right now. The White Sox collapse has been chipping away at him for the past few weeks and I think last night was the curtain on his sanity. No joking he straight up disappeared after Alex Rios’ flew out to end the 7th. Went dark on us. No twitter. No texts. No galloping up to the front porch with his tongue wagging out when we go outside and yell his name. Real scary stuff. All those runners left in scoring position and blown bases loaded situations and Jordan Danks getting doubled up after missing 2nd base turned his brain into a puddle. Poor guy.
If anybody sees a man wandering around the south side today looking like lobotomized Joaquin Phoenix with sausage grease smeared on his face muttering nonsense about Paul Konerko, D3 college baseball and the zen of fried food let us know. Chicagotips@barstoolsports.com
