Source - Many men get irritable, pack on the kilos and suffer from reduced sex drive as they get older, but Sydney sex health doctor Michael Lowy said this could be a sign of a condition called androgen deficiency. “Low testosterone can be part of ‘grumpy old male syndrome’ where older men they lose muscle tone, they can be depressed, don’t feel so good,” Dr Lowy said. “We tend to miss [these symptoms] because we just say to them, ‘you’re old’.”
Absolutely astounding that people spent money on this to come to the conclusion that people get bitter and more pissed off the older they get. Gee ya think? It isn’t a medical condition you idiots it’s called living on planet Earth and putting up with everyone’s bullshit year after year after year. I mean when I was 15 years old I was one of the happiest people I knew. I held doors open for people, actually listened when I was talking to someone, I smiled all the time, and was generally a nice guy to be around. Now it’s 10 years later and I can literally think of like 6 or 7 people that I genuinely like in the entire world, family included. That’s a 1 : 1,000,000,000 ratio of people I like to be around if you’re keeping score at home. When I’m in public there’s pretty much 3 types of people that I don’t passionately hate immediately: hot chicks, elderly people/the handicapped and people in the food service industry. Those people get a free pass. Everyone else I want to punch in the face with a machete. Has nothing to do with developing a syndrome as I pack on the years, and everything to do with Earth being over populated with about 4 billion too many shitty people. Fix that and Grumpy Old Man Syndrome will be a thing of the past.
