So I guess we’re doing this. I can’t say I totally agree with the strategy, to basically pick up washed up closers that with era’s over 5 that can’t locate a pitch to save their life and hope they somehow have some magic left, but I’m also firmly in the “In Theo We Trust” camp. I will say this though, I feel like we’re moving in the right direction in this department. I remember when Schlitter was going through his issues (his issue was he sucked) I kept telling myself, well at least he’s not Marmol. And then when we got Rafael Soriano I said to myself, at least he’s better than Schlitter. And now we’re here, I actually said to myself yesterday, well Fernando Rodney is better than Soriano so that’s nice. By 2020 we may actually have a 4th real bullpen arm. And that is how you spin it.
