Are The Bears The Worst Team In The NFL?

What a fucking disgrace. What a fucking bummer. I should have known too. National television Bears means we all get embarrassed. It’s happened plenty of times before, it will probably happen on Sunday against the Cowboys, and here we are, Week 2 and the season is over. The thing that’s insane to me is I thought we had already hit the bottom. I thought year 2 of Trestman was the lowest of lows. When the team quit, was losing by a hundred each week, and the coaching staff was sniping players behind their back. But here we are 2 years later and we’re about to go through something worse. This Bears team is just so so bad. No top end talent (thanks to a decade worth of bad drafts), no depth, no O-Line, an injured QB, an awful secondary, guys who can’t stay on the field on both sides of the ball, a kicker that misses, a coach that plays everything conservative, it’s a train wreck. A complete and total train wreck and we still have FOURTEEN more of these things.

And what now? Brian Hoyer? I know Jay Cutler is gone after this season, we all know that, the Chicago experiment failed and it hurts to have to go back to square 1. But healthy Jay still makes this team watchable, now they aren’t even that. Lamarr Houston tore his ACL, Eddie Goldman got hurt, Kyle Long is hurt, and Cutler probably has a broken hand. And what about Fox and Pace? I don’t want to fire either 2 years in but the precedent was been set with Trestman/Emery. Are we going to start over yet again? I’m just at such a loss of words for how this team and franchise can be so bad. We’ve lost our way and it’s days like today that I feel like we may never find it again. Fucking A this team bums me out so hard.
