Umm Is The NFL and Roger Goodell Ever Going To Address #Deflategate Or Just Pretend It Never Happened?

Tick tok, tick tok, tick tok. It’s been 2 months since Deflategate started. 2 fucking months. Ted Wells, the guy hired to investigate it, said the investigation would last a few weeks. I said the NFL would never release their findings and would just hope everybody forgot about it and it would eventually fade away. It appears that I’m once again correct. I mean Watergate got solved faster than this. What exactly is the hold up? How hard is this to figure out? The NFL had no problem leaking information and confirming that they were investigating this right before the Superbowl. They had no problem trying to distract the Patriots from the task at hand. They had no problem fueling the conspiracy theorists. How can something so important at the time just get pushed to the back burner?

Duh. Because the only thing releasing the findings will do is confirm what Patriot fans have known all along. This was an inside job. That Deflategate had nothing to do with the Patriots. That if anything it was the Colts and the NFL who tried to frame the Pats. That it all happened under Roger Goodell’s watch. That Mike Kensil went mad with power. That the NFL knew about the deflated ball complaints and tried to set a booby trap. If we get a truthful report about what actually transpired it will be the greatest black eye in the history of the sport. That’s why months and months have passed without a peep about Deflategate. The NFL never planned on releasing their findings. Or if they do it will be so far down the road that people won’t remember just how big a deal it was at the time. Goodell wants to wait and wait and wait till all the major players are dead and buried. That’s the NFL’s plan. Well I won’t forget and neither should you. You Come At the King,You Best Not Miss.

PS – Imagine if the Pats tampered with another team’s best player like the Jets did? All hell would break lose. We’d lose all our draft picks for the next 100 years. Belichick would be thrown in jail. All our Superbowls would be erased from the record books. It would be headline news on CNN, Fox and Disney. It would be pure chaos in the streets. But because it’s the Jets who cheated and we were the victims nobody cares. And guess what neither do I? Because I’m a man and we do our talking on the field.
