This Smokeshow Size 10 Model Is Throwing Feminists For A Loop Since They Can't Complain How She's Too Skinny

SOURCE – Model Myla Dalbesio has made history by landing a coveted Calvin Klein underwear campaign, even though she is considered plus-size by the fashion industry’s standards. At a U.S. size 10, the 27-year-old from Wisconsin is too curvy for a standard sample size zero or two, but plus-size is traditionally classified as size 12 and up, putting her right in the middle. ‘It’s kind of confusing because I’m a bigger girl,’ Myla, who stands at 5ft 11in, told Elle. ‘I’m not the biggest girl on the market but I’m definitely bigger than all the girls [Calvin Klein] has ever worked with, so that is really intimidating. I’m not skinny enough to be with the skinny girls and I’m not large enough to be with the large girls , and I haven’t been able to find my place,’ she explained. As such, ‘this [campaign] was such a great feeling.’  And yet some people have taken to outrage that she could even be considered a ‘bigger’ girl. ‘It’s not like [Calvin Klein] released this campaign and were like, ‘Whoa, look, there’s this plus-size girl in our campaign,” she explained. ‘They released me in this campaign with everyone else; there’s no distinction. It’s not a separate section for plus-size girls.’
So if I’m reading this story correctly, the only people upset about Myla Dalbesio being labelled as plus-size are the people that are labelling her as plus-size? If it were any group other than a bunch of body shaming obsessed feminists that would sound insane, but for them it’s pretty much par for the course. When it’s Benhati Prinsloo and Miranda Kerr getting all the modelling gigs then it isn’t fair to women because it’s impossible for most women to be a size 00. Now Calvin Klein picks a girl who’s a size 10 and they’re still outraged because she’s only a size 10? I guess this means we’ve cracked the code: body shaming is bad if you’re singling out girls for being too big and nitpicking every last bit about their appearance because then you’re treating them like an object instead of a person, but it’s totally acceptable if you’re singling girls out for being too small because girls that are small are objects and can’t be respected until their BMI is over 30. Pretty big blow to the crazy feminist agenda, no?

Of course, these self-proclaimed feminists could refute this pretty easily. All they’d have to do is admit that they don’t like Myla because has a perfect bone structure and is proof that you can be a size 10 and an absolute smoke. It would also function as an admission that their whole ethos about culture morphing what people find attractive is a total sham and their entire lonely existence has been a waste, but I’ve heard it feels good to actually tell the truth. I’m sure we’ll see that memo from Jezebel any minute now.
