So my friend, aka the guy who climbed the roof after the pats lost the superbowl, is now currently facing expulsion from UMass Amherst. Nick is being made an example out of for climbing on the roof. But if you watch all the videos there are kids throwing beer cans, trying to fight the cops, and destroying shit, all worse than what Nick did. He should face discipline but ruining a kids life for something like that is just unfair. Nick is a huge stoolie as well and would love the support (even though he is NOT apart of this group) from a guy who knows how it feels to be kicked out of the best school in the North East. So what do you say prez, will you help us try and save our friend and pass on this group?

Nothing would surprise me anymore, but I just can’t fathom Umass would kick this out kid out of school for this. It has to be a scare tactic. You can’t just pick one bro out of a million and make an example out of him. Not when the streets were pure mayhem and his biggest crime was climbing on the roof. I just refuse to believe they’d really give him the boot. More importantly Umass has to just chillax. Stop trying to act like you’re not a party school. It’s never going to change. That’s what makes you guys so fucking great. That’s why everybody I ever talk to who goes to school there fucking loves it. It’s one of the few places left on earth where kids can got to college and literally just blackout for 4 years. Embrace that. Embrace being the Zoo. It’s not something to be embarrassed about. It’s something to embrace, cherish and pride yourselves on. You party harder, stronger, and better than everybody else. Wear it. Own it. Be it.

as a retired semi-professional umass rioter, let me just say that umass is no longer the zoo. my generation of umass kids fucked it up for everyone by essentially winning the Battle of Hobart Lane in '03 vs amherst, umass, and state police. i think the cops vowed to never get embarrassed like that again, and that's why amherst is now like nazi germany.

kid did this when i was there few years ago. jumped off the roof, broke his legs, and was handcuffed while still screaming in pain. don't think they expelled him though? umass needs to chill the fuck out. what do you expect when you put 5,000 kids within a square mile (if it is even a mile).

doyle, i am over 30, and i stand by almost anything i've ever done in my life. but i don't tell these stories out of pride, i tell them because they're relevant personal experiences. if i had nothing better to do than go on the internet and try to convince a bunch of anonymous strangers that i'm badass, i'd have been swinging from my ceiling fan with a belt around my neck years ago. but in my mind, if you're going to comment on something and it's not just a one-liner or a joke, you should relate it to personal experience. apparently all of you are the type of people that we probably wouldn't keep company with each other if we knew each other. but everything i say is genuine and not for show, i guess who i am just happens to offend most of you. sorry for storytelling.

University of Massachusetts is a Tier one university Is ranked behind UCONN and UVM and in front of UMAINE UNH AND URI It is considered more selective, where a place like harvard is very selective It makes sense to be jealous if you can't get into the university, but to say it is a shit school is far from the truth. unless your going to HARVARD, MIT, BC, or TUFTS you are a complete assbag for going to the overrated over priced universities such as northeastern and bu (can't get into bc), merrimack, simmons, suffolk, stonehill, emerson UMass is seen as an elite university outside of the Massachusetts Amherst, and is the largest university in New England.

Sorry but dude is getting expelled. He has no shot at overturning the dean’s decision. Basic rundown of what happens. He denies the violations from the student code of conduct. The dean then sets up a judicial conference, which is basically a taped meeting in front of 6 people and “special assistants” to the dean. Most people think to go in there telling their side of the story but that’s wrong. If you don’t go there thinking like you’re on trial for robbery, then you’re going to lose. They’re trained to not care about your sob story. They’re just looking for grounds to overturn the soc violations. Once they’re done with their deliberations, you get a letter stating the outcome. 99% it’s the same as what the dean gave. Then after you get that letter, you can appeal that decision to some person in Univ. Health Services. But in that case you have to write a letter explaining why the deans, and the judicial conference peoples decision was wrong. Basically when it gets to this point, it’s just a way to buy time in case you need to figure out what to tell your parents, or send your transcripts to other schools before they put the expulsion on the record lmao. The way umass handles student soc violations is BS. But they want umass to be the Harvard of public uni’s sooo. They’re about to get ruthless with the expulsions.

I don't know the kid, but I go to UMass and was working that night at a DC in Southwest, but didn't go to the 'riot' (LOL I'm poor and have to work). Anyway I remember 4 kids from the Osama riot climbed on Berk too and if I remember correctly no one got arrested or faced any consequences from that night. In fact, I remember the UMPD saying that night was mostly 'festive' and 'patriotic'. I don't have a problem with retards getting kicked out because it makes my (eventual) degree look better, but maybe it is unfair to not punish the 4 kids who did it last year and then expel this retard. All I really care about is finding that assfag in the Moss jersey who sucked punched the Giants fan in the back of the head. I don't know who he is, but I know he's shitting his pants waiting for the cops to identify him from the video and barge through his door.

doyle, the tire iron shit is ridiculous, that's where all the hate towards me comes from. apparently i need to rehash this: MY FRIEND hit a kid with the tire iron, my other friends stomped the kid out, i was nearby but didn't get involved cuz i was on probation at the time. my friends paid the price, they all did some time. it's over now, that was like 5 years ago. and if no one remembers, i didn't tell the story to be like "oh, look how tough me and my friends are", it was again RELEVANT to the blog, which was a worldstar hiphop video of someone getting brained with a tire iron. i had a similar experience to share, so i did. it was all the comment section assholes that blew it up, all i did was defend myself. they just didn't like my feelings on it, cuz the kid who got beaten deserved the beating, it just went too far, and that shit just happens sometimes when you fight, it could have been any one of us. and i haven't heard the fucking end of it for i think it's been over a year now. ridiculous.

Dro Man- holy shit I forgot all about that story but I went to Umass too and was at my friend's apartment right near where that happened. I think it was after the bars or something. I just remember the next day being floored that it all happened so close to us and we never knew. Than again we were pretty drunk and I'm not one to get involved in a fight, especially one like that. Whatever happened to the kid who got beat? I also want to point out that I agree with every pro uamss person on here. Quit with hating on the school. I'm one of the few people I know who doesn't have student loans and that's because of umass. I know a bunch of friends who chose to go to privatized colleges thinking it'd be more elite and guess what? We all have a bachelors and at the end of the day that piece of paper is all that matters. Unless you're specialized or going to MIT or another Ivy League school I can't justify $35,000 a year when umass tuition was around $14,000 when I went there.
