   oh, we talk about the giants doing it. They're giant pussies for diving. If I was in charge of a major sports league, I'd do the following: Video review the games the day after, flopping is an automatic 5 game suspension in soccer and basketball, 2 in football. They'd stop really quick.

    So that makes what, 10 posts about the olympics and 0 about the red sox since the sox managed to salvage any hopes of a decent season with back-to-back wins over the yankees in their last at-bat? I've always believed that people who don't like sports like the olympics more than people that do like sports, so it makes perfect sense that Portnoy is so fucking obsessed with the olympics.  He's the biggest pinkhat fan in Boston.  Take the "by the common man, for the common man" tagline off of your site you twat.  You like gymnastics more than baseball and live in Boston.

    I was eating lunch at the bar yesterday, on one TV was soccer, on the other TV was bullriding. Opposite ends of the toughness spectrum. Soccer player falls to the ground clutching his head even though nobody touched him while the bullrider was being rag dolled by a 1000lb bull with a smile on his face.

    I like to compare soccer (or football for you purists) to pro wrestling, only give me pro wrestling for the win because people know its fake and also holds some level of entertainment value.  If soccer tricked it up with some crazy managers on the sideline passing off a mystery substance to a player and then he throws it in his opponents eyes... now that would be some good shit.  Or, how about they allow fighting like hockey?  Instead we get guys who act dead because he shoelace got stepped on?  Where is the honor?  Honestly, soccer carries as much weight as watching a rerun of Blades of Glory.  Players are a joke and the sport is a joke.  Pass the remote, because I would rather watch ladies synchronized swimming.

    I read the comments from the last post about soccer side-by-side with these ones and they were fucking identical.  No one even bothers changing arguments, you idiots that say soccer players are pussies still have no idea why they flop, and people trying to defend it don't understand that they're not defending soccer, but straw-man soccer in which everyone falls because they're hurt.  A misrepresentation of an entire sport perpetuated by a bunch of fat-ass, unathletic fucks so that they can feel good about themselves solely for by reason of being born in America.
