VH1 Has Done The Impossible: They Made A Boston Show Worse Than Southie Rules. Introducing Wicked Single

The people who run TV stations have to be the biggest idiots on the planet right? They have to be. Like how can anybody with a brain watch that preview and think this is going to work? I mean to say this show has no chance would be one of the great understatements of our generation. This is Southie Rules all over again. A show so atrociously bad that it basically goes straight from episode 1 to out of business. My question is do the people who made this show realize how bad this is yet? Or do they still think they have a winner here? I just don’t get how anybody who has the power to get a show on TV can be this bad at their jobs?

PS – Any show that uses “wicked” as a punchline is doomed to fail.

I don't know, I think it's all in the promotion. I mean you saw the previews for Jersey Shore, right? Looked like the biggest collection of idiots in the world, and it went on to be a huge hit. And they WERE the biggest idiots in the world.You should know, look no further than your Foam Shows. Anyone with half a brain knows it's one big sword fight, but you pimp the videos with hired whores and suck people into going.

Fucking mind bottling. If you are going to do a show about Boston, just set up a camera at the sausage cart at Faneuil Hall at 2 AM any Thurs.-Sat. You'll capture it all. Fights, whores, stumbling drunks, bums, etc... Eminently more watchable than this diarrhea.

Portnose, the TV execs are smarter than you think. These shows have next to no production costs. Why bother building sets and having props and having to invent characters when you can just make a "reality" show? That said, about 99.7% of TV is flat unwatchable.

Is this because Boston people loved Good Will Hunting, The Town, etc.? They think Mass/Boston will eat these shows up?
