   not just speed its how we evolve in sports.  If you look at this graph and all you get out of it is speed then you prb dont grasp much.

   At the end it makes out like 3 seconds isn't that significant between the 19th century and now.  It's a fucking 10 second race I'm pretty sure that's a big improvement.

    @rcht this edition of the US team won by 4 to a shitty Lithuania, whereas the dream team beat a stacked Lithuania team by 51.  shut your mouth, case closed.

    Look at it this way, Dream Team would have the best 4 big men as well as the best PG and best overall player.  The current team doesn't score at all in the post and good luck driving and finishing over Robinson and Ewing, the only way it would be close is if the 12 team was unconscious from the 3 point line, but i just dont see it happening

    Humans can't physically evolve in just a century. This graph shows how much more widespread sports are now, the development of training methods, increased knowledge of proper nutrition for runners, better equipment, etc.

    This is startling to me, guys made the olympics in the 70's and 80's over 10 seconds? I fucking ran 11 flat in highschool, that was good for 2nd or 3rd rarely a first place finish. There was a guy on my team running 10.7's in HIGHSCHOOL - what the fuck happened to make people faster in 20-30 years? Is it in the water? I mean I'm a white motherfucker I didn't do anything special...I wouldve worked those fucking slow bastards from the 1930's
