Should the Yankees Be Forced To Forfeit Last Night’s Game For Cheating?

I’m sure everybody has seen this by now but I just had to chime in quickly. Is this vintage New York Yankee baseball or what? Just flat out cheating. Like there is gamesmanship and then there is disgusting, dishonest, embarrassing behavior. This falls into the ladder. This isn’t trapping a fly ball or tricking a runner on the basepaths. You don’t have the baseball. You need to be a man and own up to it. It’s a simple case of integrity and honestly really. Like forget about steroids in baseball what message does this send to our country’s youth? That robbing, lying and stealing is encouraged? A more disgusting display of disgustingness these eyes have never seen.

PS – Got to love the ump ejecting Hannahan for telling him to watch the replay. Fucking umps and their power trips huh?

Double PS- Right now I picture Bud Selig and the rest of the MLB sitting at typewriters sending one cease and desist letter after another to anybody who uploads this play to youtube. NOBODY WATCHES MLB VIDEOS ON THE INTERNET ON BUD SELIG’S WATCH! NOBODY! To their credit though that’s why MLB has so many young fans. They stay in touch with the pulse of America.

Cant blame Wise IMO. He gets up, Ump called the Out, and he trots off. Pretty sure there aren't many players that would say, No Mr. Ump, didnt make the catch, sorry. Ump should have asked to see the ball. Would have been one thing if he picked the ball of the ground and put it in his glove(which has been done by non-yankees). Also, this out meant very little to the game. 2 outs, no one on, Hughes pitching well. Wasnt until Wade came in to make it close.

was there a reason the ump didnt just ask the guy to show him the ball in his glove when he came out of the stands? i hate the yankees as much as the next guy but if the umps are going to be fat and lazy and not do their job why the fuck would the players do it for them?
