DM — A mother has revealed that she pays for her son’s heroin as it is easier for her to see him using drugs than withdrawing from them. The woman, identified as Hope by Nat Geo’s Drugged series, told the program that she wants her 21-year-old son Schuyler to get help for his addiction, but will support him in the meantime. ‘It much worse for me to see my son withdrawing from heroin than when he’s on it,’ she said – even though doctors predicted he has just six months to live if he does not kick the habit. The program follows Schuyler, who takes up to four hits a day, in the lead up to a doctor’s visit and a failed stint in rehab. His mother travels with him from their home in Phoenix, Arizona to Dallas, Texas to visit the specialist facility, and while there, Schuyler starts suffering withdrawals. ‘If someone were to offer to bring Schuyler some heroin up here, it would make our life a lot better,’ she tells the cameras.
Love all the Monday morning quarterbacks on Facebook and Twitter saying this lady is an unfit mother. Obviously they never partied at the kid with the cool parents’ house in high school. Could do whatever you want, consequence free. Smoke weed, drink beer, have sex. Whatever. As long as you gave the mom who was a little too concerned about being well-liked a celeb shot or two you had the golden ticket. So Hope kept it real a little too long and a 30 of Natty Light eventually turned into heroin. Sue her. Still the coolest mom in the neighborhood.
Plus can you imagine dealing with somebody going through heroin withdrawal? Oh my god. I can’t even be around someone with the common cold because they’re too needy. Schuyler probably whines like a little bitch as all the opiates leave his system. Take 20 bucks and go get yourself a fix, kid. Grow up.
