   The redsox should be ashamed for killing their announcer and quadruple the salary for the next guy they hire. He fucking died because he was drving a 2004 Suzuki suv according to espn.com. I bet the Yankees announcer is Riding in a Beemer Benz or Bentley.

   He lived in Holland, MA? The Red Sox must pay announcers shit. Helluva commute. I have no idea where it is, but it's mentioned in the same sentence as Sturbridge Village, so I assume it's in the middle of nofuckingwhere. Wouldn't want to get out of a game at midnight and then have to put in a three-hour commute on the Pike. It's a wonder he never fell asleep behind the wheel.

    The other sad thing about this, is that Hardy from 98.5 the Sports Hub would be a TERRIFIC replacement for Carl Beane, but now that he broke the story of Beckett golfing when he was hurt, they probably won't give him a shot.

    Hey to be an asshole and point out the obvious issue here: hey listen, you wanna live fucking 70 miles away from your job in the hell that is western mass, every single day speeding to work to make sure you're there ahead of time - because you can't be late to call a game, well - sometimes accidents happen. Maybe if you moved to a normal place like Braintree or Milton or Newton or West Roxbury or Foxboro or Norwood or ANYPLACE other than Holland driving down I90/Rt2 every day like a fucking idiot you wouldn't have fallen asleep at the wheel.
