    Prez - It's just a Canon 5DMk2 or Mk3, with an "everybody has one" 70-200mm f/2.8 lens (package cost $5K full retail, tops).  If he had the 1DX ($7K) and a 400mm f/2.8 ($11K), then I'd be jealous.

    Here's retired MLB pitcher Randy Johnson with a minimal amount of gear for a sports photog, 2 camera bodies, 1 400mm lens, one wide angle lens, $18K in gear tops.  Most sport photogs I know take three camera bodies, and 4 to 6 lenses, plus a laptop to the game, easily $40K in gear. http://www.sportsphotographer.net/sports_photographer/randy-johnson-is-the-tallest-sports-photographer/
