Radioink – VP of Programming and Operations for Entercom Boston Jason Wolfe writes on his Facebook page that he’s being replaced because Entercom feels its time for a change in his position. “They have an obligation to do what they feel is in the best interest of the station and the company and I respect that, and accept it. Wolfe was 24 years old when he started at Entercom’s Sports station in Boston. “Being involved in the growth of WEEI has been a tremendous honor. It’s now time for me to move on to the next chapter of my career.”
Great day in the morning! Listen if you expect me to take the high road here and not kick a guy when he’s down you got the wrong dude. There is NOTHING I love doing more than dancing on the grave of my vanquished enemies. I’ve been waiting for Midget Wolfe to get fired every since he kicked me off the Dennis and Callahan show without the common courtesy of a phone call. Well that day has finally come. It only took him bankrupting WEEI to make it happen. Don’t worry though Midget. I’m looking for a janitor at the Stool. Send me your resume. I’ll give it a look. And not to be a prick, but this offer expires at midnight. Think about it. I’m sure it’s the best offer you’re gonna get. After all 3 foot tall radio executives who run their stations into the ground aren’t really in demand these days.
PS – Yes this officially ends my vendetta with WEEI. Everybody who crossed me at that station has now been fired. If it seems like the Pres always wins that’s because I do!
